I recently earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Information Science from Mount Saint Mary's University. Throughout my undergraduate career, I have completed and mastered courses such as algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus. I have also maintained a strong academic record as evidenced by my cumulative GPA of 3. 5 and multiple academic honors. In addition, previous tutoring experiences have enabled me to understand what students need most when it comes to tutoring a subject like mathematics. I believe this understanding allows for me to promote academic retention and student success in a subject that is known to provide students difficulty. Evaluating students' learning capabilities and needs, helping them through assignments, and suggesting new learning techniques are just a few of the areas in which I excel. Even though I have a strong mathematics background, I am well-versed in other subject areas like science, English and Spanish.
