Skyler studied Vocal Performance in undergraduate school, where she learned great technique through Classical music. She has experience performing music in the genres of Classical, Jazz, Choral, Pop, R&B, Soul, Gospel, and more. She has sung in many note worthy choruses, such as the 105 Voices of History, and has performed with Center Stage Opera Company and Independent Opera Company for many productions. She has worked with children of all ages in the classroom for over a year. Piano lessons were a must in undergraduate school for music major, so Skyler has four years under her belt. Lessons will be based on the Classical genre, where students will focus on technique. Student will learn fingering, major scales, minor scales, and more. She has worked with children of all ages in the classroom for over a year. Music theory is a must if you want to become an educated musician. Skyler's favorite classes were those of music theory, because it showed the back-work to great compositions. There is a reason why composers insert a ritardando at the end of grand cadences, or a forte in a full choral score. Students who are planning to go to college, sing in ensembles, or play in bands, etc. should consider learning the theory behind the music!
